Resistance is local. While SALT documents and amplifies, the real work happens in communities — people showing up, organizing, and holding power accountable face to face. These are the groups doing that work.
GRR is a multi-generational group of activists on Cleveland’s west side, founded after the 2016 election. They organize around voter registration, phone/text banking, canvassing, and direct engagement with elected representatives. Their members run for school boards, city councils, and Democratic Party committee seats.
GRR also operates GROWL, a political action committee that supports aligned candidates and causes across Northeast Ohio.
